What is a good CPS score?
There is no universal CPS scale that makes one number “good” for every person, device, duration, or task. A more useful comparison is your own repeated result with the same setup and time window.

CPS stands for clicks per second. A CPS test, also called a click speed test, counts accepted mouse clicks or taps during a fixed time window and divides the total by the selected seconds.
The first accepted input starts the timer and counts as click one. CPS is not a measurement of reaction delay, polling rate, latency, or overall hardware performance.
Four steps
The timer begins from your input, so you do not need to race from a separate start button to the click area.
Select 1, 5, 10, 30, or 60 seconds. Five seconds is the default comparison window.
Place your pointer over the test area. On a touch screen, use a single finger to tap.
Your first accepted click or tap starts the timer and counts toward your total.
Keep going until time ends, then compare repeated runs made with the same duration and setup.
